Work begins today on the project to replace the Peel Harbour Road Bridge.
Construction is expected to take around 20 weeks - meaning it's anticipated to be complete by around mid-March next year.
During this time a temporary bridge with traffic light controls will cross the River Neb, with access through Peel Marina Boatyard.
That will be commissioned on Monday, October 15 - when the current route closes to traffic and pedestrians.
