Work is set to begin on a multi-million pound sheltered housing complex in Ramsey.
Ramsey & Northern Districts Housing Committee has received approval to start construction of the £6-million Mayfield site on Queen's Pier Road.
It's expected to become one of the largest social housing projects in the North of the Island.
The committee's chairman, Sandra Kerrison, says it will 'offer tenants independence combined with security' in a 'convenient' town centre location.
