Women's health conference held by Manx Care

A conference discussing women's health was held by Manx Care last week.

'Spotlight on Women's Health' focused on a range of topics, including the menopause, mental health, breast services, fertility and pregnancy loss, as well as plans for the Women's Health strategy.

Guest speakers and the ambassador for Isle of Man's Women's Health, Lady Lorimer MBE, spoke at the event which aimed to recognise the importance of having a service which makes women heard.

Key takeaways from the conference included the importance of education, joint working, and listening to patients/service users.
