A woman’s been fined after being caught twice in two days with cannabis for sale.
Nadine Rebecca Wade of Marathon Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
She admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply it at her home on November 21 and 22 last year.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the court police raided Wade’s home and officers caught her trying to hide 25 grammes of the drug worth around £500 – and after failing to report to police later the next day she was arrested.
At police headquarters, a search revealed she was carrying a small amount of cannabis bush and the 21 year old told officers she used up to three grammes a day to help her anxiety.
Mrs Hughes fined her a total of £500 and ordered her to pay £125 costs.
