Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was targeted in what’s believed to be an unprovoked attack.
The incident happened between 12.30 and 1am in Ramsey on Saturday.
The 45-year-old man was walking along Parliament Street in the direction of the Old Courthouse when he was approached by a younger man who threatened to harm him.
He then proceeded to throw a drinks can at him which missed.
Officers were unable to locate the offender at the time and now want to speak to anyone who was in the Star Grill takeaway who witnessed what happened.
