Witnesses sought after child suffers dog bite

Police are appealing for witnesses after a four year old was bitten on the face by a dog in Douglas.

It happened in the area of Ballakermeen Avenue yesterday just before 11am.
 
The dog has been described as being 'golden or yellow' in colour and the size of a springer spaniel. 
 
It's said a woman with a tanned complexion was walking the dog on a lead.
 
There's been no update on the youngsters' condition.
