Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a street attack in Douglas.
At 7:15AM on Saturday morning a man needed to be hospitalised after being assaulted on the steps at the front of the Trevelyan Hotel on Queens Promenade.
The man was treated for injuries to his face, officers say they are not life threatening.
Any witnesses are asked to contact the police.
