Wait to See if Landowners Will Take Ruling Further
Yesterday essentially marked the end of the long running Clarkson land dispute that has been ongoing since 2005.
It all stemmed from the Clarkson family blocking off an access path to ramblers as they felt it was an invasion of their privacy, the walkers formed PROWL and then pursued the Clarkson’s through the courts resulting in the recent enquiry.
Besides from the concrete path running alongside the Clarkson’s house virtually everything else has been defined as a Public Right of Way.
We asked David Anderson, the man who was Transport Minister throughout the Enquiry if he anticipated landowners on Langness taking further action in light of the ruling.
