 
                            Snow is continuing to cause problems around the Island this morning.
All Island schools are closed today because of snow.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture announced the decision shortly after 7.30.
Minister Graham Cregeen took the decision in view of travel difficulties, safety issues and an ongoing wintry forecast.
Department of Infrastructure gritters are treating road surfaces, but many remain extremely slippery.
Abandoned cars are also causing problems as gritters try to clear roads amid contining snowfalls.
Main Road in Santon and the Mountain Road are both shut because of wintry conditions.
All bus services are also suspended.
Noble's Hospital says all it's outpatient appointments today have been postponed, and district nurses will only be making urgent visits.
