Will you brave the Southern New Year Dips?

Are you planning on taking the dip this New Year's Day?

This year, Hartford Homes is sponsoring the Southern New Year Dips, taking place in various locations in Port St Mary and Port Erin.

The first takes place at 10.00am at Chapel Bay, followed by the Inner Harbour at 10.45am and then 11.30am in Gansey Bay. 

The series of dips ends at 12.15pm in Port Erin Bay, with fancy dress encouraged.

Southern Dippers veteran, Lenny Conroy, told us how the event has grown since its beginnings over 20 years ago:

This time round the dips will help raise funds for Anaphylaxis UK in the Isle of Man, to support those suffering with serious allergies.
