A local charity has launched a year-long campaign to tackle plastic waste.
Manx Wildlife Trust is introducing Wave Goodbye to Plastic in the hopes of encouraging people and businesses to become more environmentally friendly.
The charity says recent incidents on the Island have highlighted this environmental disaster, and urgent action is needed to cut down the use of plastic.
As part of the campaign, MWT will use the hashtag #ManxPlasticPledge and is asking people to give up one item of single-use plastic in their daily life.
