A fire in the south of the Island prompted an emergency response yesterday – but it wasn’t quite what it seemed.
The Fire and Rescue Service says as Storm Kathleen battered the Island, they were called to reports of a blaze on Bradda Head.
However, when crews arrived they were stunned to find the reported ‘smoke’ was a stream being blown uphill by the winds.
They posted footage of the ‘fire’ to Facebook.
