Questions about the next Lieutenant Governor will be raised when Tynwald sits next week.
On Tuesday, Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse will quiz Chief Minister Howard Quayle about the ceremony.
Mr Moorhouse wants to know what work is needed to host the swearing-in at Castle Rushen, and when those improvements will be carried out.
He'll also ask when and where the ceremony is planned to take place.
