Pressure is mounting on politicians to pass a Freedom of Information bill as Tynwald prepares to meet for the first time since the start of summer.
The Chief Minister says he believes legislation will be endorsed soon after years of campaign work.
Tynwald will re-group next month after the summer recess and it's expected to be a heated affair.
