Today's weather warning has been upgraded to amber.
The notice is for coastal overtopping, with strong to gale force winds expected over the next few days.
It's in force from noon today until 6pm tomorrow evening.
Ronaldsway Met Office says the areas most likely to be affected are promenades in Douglas, Laxey, Ramsey and Castletown, along with parts of Shore Road and Port St Mary.
An amber warning warns of a risk of injury, possible disruption and damage in areas affected, and potential impact on work, school and travel.
