The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning today, with heavy rain expected.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway say persistent moderate rain with occasional heavy downpours will continue today and tonight before easing tomorrow morning.
With up to an inch and a half today, the rain may leave standing water on the Island's roads and create difficult driving conditions.
And because the ground's been soaked over the past few days, there may also be some localised flooding.
