Despite recent wet weather, water stocks on Island have only increased by 1 per cent.
That's the latest from Manx Utilities, following the implementation of the Island's hosepipe ban last week.
The board says the ban has contributed a demand reduction to 29.5 Million litres per day - prior to this and during warmer weather, demand was 39 Million litres.
MU says it'll continue to monitor the situation as the MET office is predicting drier than normal weather over the next couple of weeks.
