A watchmaker in the north of the Island has applied for permission to extend its workshop and expand its facilities.
Roger W Smith wristwatches can cost well over £100,000 and are built at the business near Sulby Bridge in Lezayre.
The company says it wants to create a display about legendary watchmaker George Daniels and provide high net worth clients with an area to collect their finished watches.
In its plans are proposals to demolish existing outbuildings and replace them with more modern structures.
