Skywatchers in the West of the Island got a treat last night - with the northern lights clearly visible.
Intense activity from the sun meant the Aurora Borealis could be seen this far south and a number of social media users posted photos.
They included Dave Corkish of Peel, who posted this video of the rare phenomenon.
