More details are emerging following an aggravated burglary in Ramsey which left a man with significant injuries.
It happened on Wednesday, October 17th.
Police say they believe the offenders were trying to steal alcohol from the property – which is in need of significant repair and could appear unoccupied.
They left a black plastic torch at the scene which has to be charged from a mains supply.
The torch has been sold at local petrol stations recently and police have appealed for anyone who owns a similar item to check to see if it is missing.
It's also been revealed that a silver Citizen Quartz
Eco-drive watch was stolen during the incident.
Anyone with information to contact Ramsey Police Station or Crimestoppers.
