Weather warnings are entering their second day with Storm Dennis expected to hit today.
Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow warning for severe gales, coastal overtopping and heavy rain across the whole Island which is in place until 6am tomorrow.
Officials are warning of gale or storm force gusts could reach around 60mph today which may cause some travel disruption and minor structural damage in some places.
Heavy showers could bring between 30-60mm of rainfall on higher ground and cause some localised flooding.
Overtopping is forecast around the time of high tides this afternoon with promenades in Douglas, Laxey, Castletown and Ramsey as well as Shore Road the most likely to be affected.
