A woman's warning people on a property Facebook page not to fall for scammers - after she was defrauded out of a rental deposit.
The anonymous woman says after advertising she needed a two-bedroomed property, she was contacted by someone who recommended a landlord on the Island.
But after receiving a contract and paying a deposit for a property in Ramsey, it turned out both are scammers.
She says she's contacted by police but is warning people to check who they're dealing with before paying any money.
