The Island's Public Health Directorate is warning super-strong ecstasy tablets are likely to have reached the Isle of Man.
It's asking drugs users to be vigilant because the drugs are unusually strong and could kill.
Two types of tablets are thought to be in circulation here - 'magic' or 'pink champagne' crystal MDMA and yellow and blue tablets stamped with the word 'IKEA'.
Overdose symptoms include rigid muscles, shallow breathing, a fast-racing pulse, hyper-aggression, seizure, foaming at the mouth and unconsciousness.
Users are being advised to ask the Drug and Alcohol Team for advice by calling 617889.
