Police are sending out a stark warning to problem tenants living in council properties.
They say people who are routinely reported for committing anti-social behaviour and generally reducing the quality of life in the neighbourhood will be dealt with.
In a recent case a tenant was evicted from his council property after his anti-social behaviour over a period of time caused disturbance and distress to his neighbours.
Douglas Borough Council is working in conjunction with the police and both bodies are urging any tenants experiencing issues like this to make contact.
Inspector Mark Britton says it’s an important matter that the force takes very seriously:
