Fire service teams say they attended several incidents over the bank holiday weekend involving them.
One occasion saw two left on Blackberry Lane in Onchan - personnel didn't have to be called out for them but say the situation could've ended up being much worse.
As a result, crews are reminding people if they're using disposable barbeques to get rid of them by waiting until they've fully cooled down before either taking them home or putting them in the bin.
