The benefits of the warmest winter in years are to be felt this weekend with hundreds of intrepid fundraisers ready for tomorrow\'s new years day dip.
Although the seas will be far from warm, conditions are set to be greatly improved on previous years.
Laxey and Peel dips will be getting underway at 12.00pm, the first of the four southern dips will commence at 12.45pm in Port St Mary, culminating on the beach at 3pm, the Ramsey dip will get underway at 2.00pm, with the Castletown Harbour dip set for 3.30pm.
This year funds will be raised for the charity Autism Initiative.
