A war veteran is celebrating a milestone birthday.
The Onchan branch of the Royal British legion has passed on its congratulations to President Hector Duff as he turns 100-years-old today.
Mr Duff was titled in 2016 in recognition of his tireless devotion to ensure those who lost their lives serving in the First and Second World Wars are not forgotten.
The Island's Chief Constable Gary Roberts has described him as the 'most extraordinary man' and in a birthday message says he is a wonderfully brave representative of the greatest generation.
