A radar bunker that played a vital role in World War 2 could be turned into a home, if planners give permission.
Stuart Fayle of Glen Maye has applied for planning permission to convert a chain home radar bunker in Niarbyl into a three-bedroomed home.
The disused building was constructed in the early 1940s and used during the war before being decommissioned in the 1950s.
In his application, Mr Fayle says the home would be powered by heat pumps and solar panels.
