A virtual book club has been launched to promote the work of authors attending the Island’s first literary festival in September.
Manx Litfest organisers have set up the club, which will focus on one author each month, to encourage people to read a book by that particular writer.
Bookworms will not be required to meet up in person but instead share their thoughts by social networking sites.
Speaking to 3FM Manx Litfest organiser John Quirk said the festival had attracted literary talent from both home and away:
