Should the Isle of Man introduce a new regime to identify the beneficial ownership of companies?

The idea has gone out for consultation - it's about whether or not the owners of companies should be made to disclose information publicly at a centralised registry.

Phillip Dearden is the director of accountancy firm Equiom. Speaking for the private sector he says it's not the best of ideas:
