A renewed call for information has gone out from the police after a motorist failed to stop at a road traffic collision in May.
On Sunday 19th May at around 3pm a cyclist was hit by a passing vehicle, throwing the individual from his bike and into the road.
It happened on the Kentraugh Back Road, near to the junction with Shore Road, Gansey.
Fortunately the cyclist only received minor injuries.
The driver of the blue coloured transit style van, failed to stop and continued driving.
It is thought that the van may have sustained nearside wing mirror damage.
Police are still looking for the offending vehicle and appeal to anyone with any information to contact Castletown Police Station on 822222 or 631212.
