Police are investigating after a transit van was stolen in Douglas on Monday.
It happened overnight and was taken from then Albany Road area - the vehicle was found in Tromode on Tuesday morning.
A number of power tools were stolen from within the Ford van including a planer and two drills.
During the same time period a commercial property on Woodbourne Square was also broken into with petty cash being stolen from inside.
Police say they do not believe both incidents are directly linked but they are keeping an open mind and have asked anyone who witnessed anything to come forward.
