Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for coastal overtopping and harbour flooding.
The warning runs from 11:15am today until 4pm tomorrow.
Northern and central parts of Douglas promenade, Shore Road in Rushen, and promenades in Castletown, Laxey and Ramsey may see waves washing over them.
Meanwhile, flooding is most likely around high tide shortly after 1.40am on Lake Road and North Quay in Douglas, West Quay and Mezeron corner in Ramsey and also in Castletown.
The yellow weather warning remains in place for strong gales across the Island.
