Work is progressing well on the improvements to King Edward Pier.
The Department of Infrastructure have posted a series of pictures on their Facebook page charting the progress of the development thus far.
The first of three 100-tonne storm mooring bollards has been successfully installed, which when completed will ensure the Manxman can dock in adverse conditions without risk to both the vessel or the pier.
The £6.6 million project is expected to be completed early in the new year.
