The union which represents bus drivers has slammed the Chief Minister saying he’s a hypocrite.
Unite is accusing Allan Bell of attacking his own workforce.Drivers are due to strike again over the TT fortnight as part of a long running dispute over changes to their terms and conditions.
The union revealed last week that it has asked the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure to re-offer a deal it previously turned down whereby drivers would lose a paid lunch break but retain other conditions.
The department has refused. Unite’s Eric Holmes says he’s angry:
