A majority of nurses on the Isle of Man have indicated they would be willing to take industrial action over pay.
In a ballot conducted by the Royal College of Nursing, 83.1% of respondents voted that the 4% pay award offered to Manx Care staff was 'unacceptable.'
55.5% of members also said they would be willing to take industrial action.
Trade Unions on the Island have been in negotiations with the health body since last May, after originally asking for a 15% consolidated pay increase plus a one off payment.
The RCN Board will determine the next steps in the coming weeks.
