It has been confirmed that the Ulster Grand Prix will not be taking place this year.
The news came from a statement by the Dundrod and District Motorcycle Club.
They said despite positive negotiations with stakeholders of the event the club has been left with no choice but to cancel owing to the ongoing insurance issues, and lack of time to find a solution to these challenges.
They said however they remain committed to eventually reviving the event and will continue to work towards achieving that goal.
