UK woman arrested over Michelle Mone 'blackmail plot'

A UK woman has been arrested and bailed over an allegation she tried to blackmail Island residents Douglas Barrowman and his wife Michelle Mone.

Surrey police confirmed at the weekend they'd arrested a woman in her 40s as part of a joint investigation with Manx officers.

The woman, in her 40s, hasn't been named and has been released on conditional police bail.

Officers in Surrey said they couldn't comment further on the investigation but said there are no risks to any other members of the public.
