Planned strike action by nurses in England could have an impact on Manx Care's services.
The Royal College of Nursing has announced industrial action from 8pm on Sunday April 30, which will continue throughout Monday.
Nurses on the Isle of Man are not part of these strikes.
The Island's health body says disruption is expected at its linked hospitals in Cheshire and Merseyside, and contingency plans are being put in place.
Isle of Man patients travelling to the UK for scheduled appointments and operations during this time are also likely to receive cancellations and re-bookings.
