New UK road races don't pose much of a threat to the Isle of Man's annual TT festival.
That's according to Onchan MHK Rob Callister - he has responsibility for motorsport within the Department of Economic Development.
He says the new rules will make it easier to hold events there but believes the emphasis is on four wheels rather than two.
And he says if a UK event did try to compete with the TT, it would face stiff competition from the Isle of Man:
