Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says an appraisal of an Island hospital wasn't done by his department because the work was too specialised.
In the House of Keys this week he faced questions from Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson about the property appraisal commissioner by Manx Care.
He wanted to know why the work at Ramsey Cottage Hospital had been done by a UK company and not the DOI, which is responsible for the site.
