The Treasury Minister has responded to the UK Budget saying it will have a number of implications for the Island.
Yesterday Chancellor George Osborne delivered the key points of his Budget speech - including scrapping a planned fuel duty rise and a cut of one penny in beer duty.
Eddie Teare says both of these will be welcomed by the public but will reduce government’s income by £900,000 over the next year.
Mr Teare says he also welcomes the renewed focus on economic growth:
