University College Isle of Man (UCM) is to provide training services for a government business program.
The Department for Enterprise confirmed it has reached an agreement with the institution to run them for the Micro Business Grant Scheme.
Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly, says they're 'delighted' to be working alongside a 'prestigious and reputable education provider'.
Last year the scheme helped create 88 new businesses, and mentored 160 individuals.
