MHKs who are elected at this year's General Election could be on a basic salary of almost £40,000:
In the House of Keys this week the Policy and Reform Minister was asked to clarify the amount in light of changes to civil service pay scales.
A new formula for determining a member's annual salary will go before Tynwald in July.
