Tynwald pays tribute to outgoing MHK

Tributes have been paid to longstanding MHK Brenda Cannell who resigned earlier this month.

She stepped down as the East Douglas representative following the death of her husband.

A by-election will take place on November 12^th – yesterday it was confirmed seven people are contesting the seat.

These include Kurt Buchholz, Cat Turner, Richard Falk, John McBride, Geraldine O’Neill, Jon Joughin and Clare Bettison.
