A Ramsey MHK will get another try at investigating Tynwald members' pay this month.
Lawrie Hooper asked for a select committee to look into the issue in July, but was defeated by five members of Legislative Council.
During October's sitting of the court, however, he'll ask for another vote - this time a joint one.
If successful, the committee would make recommendations about holding an independent review of pay and allowances for MHKs and MLCs.
