More than 400 people who opposed moving St Thomas' school to Scoill Vallajeelt have been counted as one objector by the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
The department says it received just two objections as it prepares to ask approval for the move in Tynwald next month.
People have voiced their concerns about the cost, limitations of the new building, traffic issues and catchment areas.
If approved by Tynwald, the two schools would share the Scooil Vallajeelt building from the beginning of the 2018/19 academic year.
