Two men will appear in court today charged with robbery after a delivery driver was attacked on Friday.
It follows an incident on Friday night when two men used force to take a quantity of cash from a pizza delivery man.
Both were wearing make-shift masks to hide their identities and threatened the man with hammers in the Clifton Terrace area of Douglas at around 10.15pm.
The men were arrested and charged by officers from CID on Saturday.
Police say although it sounds like a cliché, this sort of offence is a rarity in the Island.
