Two people from the north of the Island have died following a three-vehicle car crash on the TT Course earlier today.
It happened at 12.35pm on the main Ramsey to Sulby Road at Churchtown in Lezayre.
The driver of one of the cars involved, a 79-year-old woman, died at the scene – her front seat passenger was seriously hurt and died later at Noble’s Hospital.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 68-year-old woman, was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at hospital.
The third vehicle involved was being driven by a 66-year-old woman – she was unhurt.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision who has not yet spoken to officers to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
