A TT supporters' organisation says it's suspending annual memberships because it can no longer raise enough money to give grants to competitors.
The TT Supporters Club announced the news on its website, saying it needs up to £8,000 to give each competitor at least £50.
Despite the changes, the club will continue to support the ACU Benevolent Fund, which helps injured riders and their families.
It says it'll give a full refund to its members, and thanked them for their support.
Unfortunately from yesterday we’ve had to suspend all memberships, because we can no longer raise the amount of money to support the riders. We will continue to process Ben Fund Badges. You can read the full Official Club statement with this link.https://t.co/mWLeNGHHrI
